Halloween Gaming Events You Can't Miss Out On

Game developers love to celebrate the holiday season with Halloween game events that their players can enjoy. This year we've seen non-stop announcements of current and upcoming Halloween events as they saturate our timelines. To make things easier for our readers, we've compiled a list of all the gaming tricks and treats we could find for those of you who want to truly embrace the spirit of Halloween.

Dead By Daylight

Starbreeze Studios, the developers behind Dead By Daylight released DLC on the 25th of October that will truly put players into the Halloween spirit. The new downloadable content pays homage to the famous Halloween movie series by including Michael Myers as a new killer, Laurie Strode as a new survivor, and the town of Haddonfield as a new map. Battlerite

Battle arena brawler, Battlerite has launched a new patch which features an abundance of new content and Halloween themed goodies for their champions to enjoy. The festive new patch includes an abundance of character updates, 2 new champions, legendary weapons, mounts and an arena. The Battlerite Halloween Season Event starts on October 21st and lasts until Novemeber 4th. Read more about what the patch includes on the Battlerite Steam forum.

Pokemon GO

Get your Buddy Pokemon ready, trainers! From October 26th through November 1st, you'll be encountering much more spooky Pokemon. This is because Niantic has announced that in celebration of Halloween, they will increasing everyone's chances of catching creepy Pokemon like Ghastly, Haunter, Gengar, Zubat and more. Rocket League

Get ready, Rocket League enthusiasts. Rocket League just released a slew of free in-game items that gives players the opportunity to get into the Halloween spirit by dressing up their battle-cars with jack-o-lanterns, bats, candy corn and more. They've even included items from last year's Halloween event but you'll need to hurry, the giveaway ends on November 4th. Be sure to get in a game or two of Rocket League before time runs out.

Clustertruck

Clustertruck released a new Halloween teaser trailer showing off some spooky new content that will be coming with a Halloween update set to launch on October 28th. The update looks like it will include some new jack-o-lantern filled levels along with some pretty eerie music to match. 

Smite

If you thought that Grim Mariachi Loki was the best thing about Smite this Halloween, then we're here to prove you wrong. Smite announced the Reaping: Part III event which begins on October 28th and ends on the day of Halloween. During this time, you'll be able to earn 50 Gems a day for achieving 3 first wins of the day. Smite is also holding a Halloween costume contest where 3 lucky Smite players can achieve god-like immortality and an abundance of Gems!
