Fortnite Battle Royale already up to 1million players on first day

Despite the protestations of a certain other battle royale developer, Fortnite’s free Battle Royale game mode is off to a roaring start with a million players already.

Epic Games are obviously thrilled with that sort of response, but what can you expect when popular rival PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds is still not available on consoles. And this is free.

Expect that number to drop slightly if the game mode doesn’t prove that much of a hit with players, but for now if you want to jump in we have some good Fortnite Battle Royale tips and guides.
