Best Friday the 13th Deaths - Page 4

Jason’s creative slaughtering takes things up a notch in the Friday the 13th series.

Amanda (Friday the 13th - 2009)

From the most recent film in the series, the 2009 version of Friday the 13th, we get one of the longest deaths scenes in the franchise. Here, Jason traps Amanda in her sleeping bag, strings her upside down from a tree over a campfire, and kills her by roasting her alive. Burning alive ranks up there in ways we definitely do not want to die.

Mrs. Voorhees (Friday the 13th)

Back to the original film once more, fans of the Friday the 13th series will always remember how Alice killed Mrs. Voorhees. Without revealing too many spoilers from the first film (in case you’ve yet to check it out), a startling revelation is revealed about what has been happening at Camp Crystal Lake. As Alice battles it out with Mrs. Voorhees, she gains the upper hand and slices her head clean off. Mrs. Voorhees hands seek out where her head used to be before her body falls to the ground.

Jason’s “Death” (Friday the 13th: The Final Chapter)

We all know you can’t really kill the antagonist of a slasher film. After all, with your main bad guy dead how are you ever going to make a sequel? From the Nightmare on Elm Street series to the Halloween series, we’ve learned that these guys are pretty much immortal. However, in Friday the 13th: The Final Chapter we see Jason’s own machete turned against him. Spearing him through the skull, the aftermath is definitely for those with strong stomachs.

Those are only nine kills out of countless memorable ones throughout the film franchise. Which brutal Jason kills would you like to see added into the new Friday the 13th game? Let us know in the comments below!
