5 Anime Series We'd Love To See As Games - Black Lagoon
With anime games on the rise, we feel these five animes deserve their very own video game.
3. Pocket Mortys
Do you love the show Rick and Morty? Do you also love Pokemon? Well, you’re in luck because Pocket Mortys by developer Big Pixel Studios combines the two! In the game, you play as Rick who is on a mission to capture all of the different iterations of Mortys. The premise is actually pretty clever, and works well in conjunction with the TV show. Players start off in Rick’s garage and are met by Mysterious Rick who enters through a portal and challenges your Rick to a Morty Battle. After besting him, you will exit through the portal and find yourself at the Council of Ricks who confiscate your beloved portal gun.
To get it back, you’ll have to defeat the six head Ricks (kind of like the Elite Four). Sadly you can’t fight them right then and there. Instead, you will have to capture different Mortys and use them to fight against Ricks across other dimensions and earn their badges. Once you’ve collected the badges, you’ll have the chance to challenge the Council! This game is a blast, and is one we’ve played alongside Pokemon GO as we patiently wait for the next season of Rick and Morty. Wubbalubbadub dub!
