Shocking Twists In Games That Will Surprise You (SPOILERS) - FEAR 2

F.E.A.R. 2

The F.E.A.R series has plenty of strange, surprising moments throughout. On the surface, the F.E.A.R. games are simple horror FPS shooters. Yet they actually contain a fully fleshed-out and surprisingly tragic story. In the first game, you play as Point Man, and the twist comes when you realize the man you’re hunting down (Paxton Fettel) is actually your brother. Furthermore, that child apparition that has been stalking you isn’t a child at all… she’s your mother.

Yet we feel the biggest twist in the series comes at the very end of the second game, F.E.A.R. 2, when antagonist Alma gets a little too friendly with Sergeant Michael Becket. Throughout the game, Alma takes an unusual liking to Michael Becket, a liking that ends up going way, way too far.

To quote the game: "You're like free pizza at an anime convention. She can smell you, and she wants to consume you." Eh, thanks for that odd visual.

The ending to F.E.A.R. 2 is as surprising as it comes, and definitely left us cringing for more reasons than one. As you can see in the video above, the love between Alma and Becket is far from consensual, and Alma’s insta-pregnancy afterwards is just about as weird as it gets in the F.E.A.R. franchise. Poor Becket…
