This isn’t Sean Bean’s first time providing voice work for a video game project. Dedicated Elder Scrolls fans likely remember that Bean voiced the character Martin Septim (the illegitimate son of the Emperor Uriel Septim voiced by Sir Patrick Stewart) in The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion. In addition, Bean also provided narration for the 2015 indie horror-adventure game Kholat. Previous Tech Tree narrators have included Leonard Nimoy, the beloved Star Trek actor who sadly passed away last year, in Civilization 4, and Morgan Sheppard in Civilization 5.
