Giant Squid Studios has released a new trailer for its upcoming underwater exploration game, Abzu, which offers a behind-the-scenes look at how the game’s hauntingly unique music was created.
The two-and-a-half minute trailer highlights Abzu’s musical score composed by Grammy Award-winning composer Austin Wintory, whose past gaming-related projects include composing and conducting music for games like Journey, The Order: 1886, flOw, and Assassin’s Creed: Syndicate.
Abzu’s music was skillfully crafted using talent from the likes of the Nashville Scoring Orchestra, the London Voices Choir, and the Abzu Harp Ensemble. The trailer features a mixture of actual
Abzu is set to launch for both PlayStation 4 and PC tomorrow, August 2nd.
