Nintendo Network now uses two-factor authentication

Keep that Switch extra safe.

Nintendo Network, the online system used for both the Nintendo Switch and 3DS has now introduced the option of two-factor authentication. The extra security measure can be found at the bottom of the “sign-in and security settings” page after logging in. To make sure of the feature, users will require a mobile device (both iOS and Android work) and Google Authenticator. After activating, you will be required to pass the Google Authenticator in addition to regular details.
