Killer Instinct shows off 4K comparison

Drop-dead visuals.

Killer Instinct, launch fighter for the Xbox One, flaunts its 4K resolution patch in new footage from DigitalFoundry.

The fighter was visually impressive title for the Xbox One’s launch, but was limited to 720p. 4K options have been available for some time on PC, with this patch bringing the two version to equality. Sadly, the game hasn’t received any additional touch ups, meaning that more recent fighters such as Injustice 2 still look more impressive in terms of animation and effects, even at their lower resolutions. But, the title manages to hold a clean 60fps after a huge boost in pixel count, making it a fantastic demo for when the new console arrives.
