Where is Xur and what is he selling in Destiny 2? 09/22

Xur, Agent of the Nine, returns for his second week in Destiny 2.

Destiny 2 has already been out for two weeks, and for the second time, the mysterious, tentacle-faced Xur has arrived to hawk his Exotic wares. For those who might not be up to speed with how Destiny works, Xur is a limited-time vendor that shows up in bizarre locations to sell extremely valuable armor - for a price. It’s typically a good idea to purchase whatever gear he has, if you can afford it, as you never know when something might slip into the game’s ever-shifting meta.

If you’re interested in finding Xur for yourself, he’s now no longer appearing in the Tower, instead opting to set up shop on one of the four planets. This week, September 22nd, Xur is on Titan, right near the lower spawn point. Be sure to check out your map to hunt him down, but for quick directions: turn left when you spawn and head toward the Arcology, he’s in a little building by the edge of the platform.

Sticking with tradition, Xur is selling an Exotic Rocket Launcher on his second weekly visit. As all the long-time Destiny players collectively sigh at the memory of not wanting to “waste an Exotic slot on a Rocket Launcher”, now is the perfect time to grab the Wardcliff Coil.

As for what Xur is selling, aside from the Exotic Rocket Launcher, the Wardcliff coil, he has:

  • Foetracer, a Hunter helmet that visually marks targeted enemies and allows you to deal more damage to low-health marked enemies.
  • ACD/0 Feedback Fence, Titan Gauntlets whereby melee kills build up explosive energy that explodes around you when you get meleed.
  • Sunbracers, Warlock Gauntlets that increase the duration of your Solar Grenades and grants grenade energy on Solar melee hits.

Each of the armor pieces will set you back 23 Legendary Shards, while the Wardcliff Coil costs 29 Legendary Shards. If you plan on playing all the available Classes, it’s a good idea to snap up all the items - so long as you can afford them.
