Mario + Rabbids: Kingdom Battle has become the Switch's best selling non-Nintendo title

Raving for the Rabbids.

Ubisofts unexpectedly excellent Mario + Rabbids: Kingdom Battle is the Switch’s best selling third-party title, even outperforming Nintendo’s ARMS and 1, 2, Switch.

The numbers were recorded from physical sales in North America, Australia and the UK by NPD and Chart-Track GFK. This is excellent news for Ubisoft’s new title, though it was helped in no small part by the inclusion of Nintendo’s primary mascot. The Switch has yet to be swamped by AAA third party titles, the this reign may not last forever, but we’re glad to see the award go to a game deserving of the success. Following the success, Nintendo will directly publish the title in Japan and South Korea.
