Rocket League's Tournament Mode less than two weeks away

Balls to the wall.

Enormously popular vehicle-based soccer smash Rocket League will get its long-awaited Tournament Mode on April 3. That's less than two weeks away!

The mode will roll out for PC, PS4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch and has been promised since September 2017. The hefty update will also bring with it a suite of other improvements and new content. You'll get more garage options, additional team customisations and the new Samurai Battle-Car. The audio has been buffed up as well, apparently.

The update will be especially welcome for Switch players, as that version of the game - currently something of a runt - will get a kick in the pants and gain significant visual upgrades. Performance mode will now run at 900p resolution (docked) or 720p (portable) and run at a buttery smooth 60fps. Quality mode drops the framerate to 30, but boosts the resolution to 1080p when docked.

Dan has been playing games since the 1980s, and doesn't plan on stopping any time soon. Also, get off his lawn. You can contact him by email if you need to know exactly how to leave his lawn.
