Arrive at the Halperin Hotel and you’ll find a bunch of locked Safe Deposit Boxes in Dead Island 2. There’s valuable loot inside each, but you’ll need to find the Safe Deposit Keys if you want to open them. They’re scattered throughout the hotel, but you can collect them all on your first passing so long as you search carefully. In this guide, we’ll help you to reach all Safe Deposit Key locations in Dead Island 2’s Halperin Hotel so you can secure extra goodies including rare resources and a powerful weapon.

There are five Halperin Hotel Safe Deposit keys to collect as you make your way toward the major. We’ve listed all the key locations below in the order you’ll be able to find them when exploring from the ground floor for the first time. While the map isn't particularly useful here, we've included images of it so that you can compare when you're in roughly the right locationg to find each Safe Deposit Box key.
Dead Island 2 Safe Deposit Key 09 location

The first Safe Deposit Key location is the easiest to find. It’s sitting on the long desk in the hotel foyer, close to the striped tape walkway along the ground. It’s in the first main room, where you’ll reached the large locked door which needs the Major’s Master Keys. Make sure to pick up Safe Deposit Key 09 before you head further into the hotel, though you can always grab it when you return as well.
Dead Island 2 Safe Deposit Key 33 location

You can find Safe Deposit Key 33 after you’ve completed the outside fight by the pool and returned to the hotel. On the 200s floor, you’ll soon reach a closed elevator. Press the button to open the door and release a few zombies within. Take them out and grab Safe Deposit Key 33 from the body in the back right of the elevator.
Dead Island 2 Safe Deposit Key 14 location

Still on the second floor, you can grab this Dead Island 2 Safe Deposit Key after you’ve crouched through a gap to obtain the Chem Bomb curveball item.

The corridor directly ahead of you will be on fire or heavily scorched if you've already doused it. Put it out with the chem bomb if you haven't, then turn left into room 208. Safe Deposit Key 14’s location is on the floor to the left of the bed within the room
Dead Island 2 Safe Deposit Key 49 location

Bored of keys yet? Not to worry, you’re almost done. The Safe Deposit Key 49 location is within the vents you climb up into while looking for room 307. When you climb up into the vents from on top of a bed, head straight forward over the metal grill instead of turning right. Turn left into the small vent loop here and you’ll find the Dead Island 2 Safe Deposit Key hidden here. How did it get up here? Who knows, but it’s yours now.
Dead Island 2 Safe Deposit Key 53 location

The final Dead Island 2 Safe Deposit key is found within room 307, the Major’s room. As soon as you enter the room, turn left and open the bathroom door. The Safe Deposit Key 53 location is on the edge of the bath inside. Collect it and you’ll have them all.
Once you find all Safe Deposit Keys in Dead Island 2, you’ll be able to return to the Halperin Hotel foyer and grab all the loot as a reward. Most of it is crafting supplies, but you’ll also find a handy item included too.
