Resident Evil 4 Castle Gate Blue Medallions locations guide

The third batch of Blue Medallions you’ll need to take out in Resident Evil 4 remake comes as you arrive at the castle chapter of the game. While catapults launch flaming balls at Leon and Ashley, you’ll be able to destroy all the blue medallions in the Castle Gate area to earn 5 spinels for trading. In this guide, we’ll show you all the Resident Evil 4 Castle Gate Blue Medallion locations with images so that you can easily destroy them all.

Resident Evil 4 Castle Gate Blue Medallions locations

There are six Castle Gate Blue Medallions to destroy in Resident Evil 4 remake. You can find them all while dodging canonfire and fighting the enemies as you first arrive, but you’ll have a far easier time of it if you take out the enemies first and head through the destroyed gate to collect the Blue Medallions poster. When you’re ready, we’ve listed all Castle Gate Blue Medallion locations below with images to help you locate them.

Castle Gate Blue Medallion #1

Starting from the beginning of the area, the first Castle Gate Blue Medallion can be found by looking south over the parapet and behind the small turret before the rounded staircase. The medallion is dangling from a tree lower down.

Castle Gate Blue Medallion #2

When you make it up to the circular cannon platform, the second Castle Gate Blue Medallion can be seen hanging in the window of the small roofed gazebo at the back.

Castle Gate Blue Medallion #3

Drop down from the cannon platform into the room where you can raise up the cannon. In here, look up and you’ll see the third Resident Evil 4 Castle Gate Blue Medallion dangling from the ceiling on the west side of the room.

Castle Gate Blue Medallion #4

Exit the room from the third medallion and stop when you come out onto the lower parapet region (where crossbow cultists were waiting originally). Turn right toward the ladder path and look up. You’ll see the Castle Gate Blue Medallion hanging in the small window of the building up on the level above. If you don’t grab this one here, you can shoot it when you’re up on the top level as well.

Castle Gate Blue Medallion #5

The penultimate Castle Gate Blue Medallion location is easy enough to grab after #4. Climb up the ladder to the area under one of the catapult platforms. Drop down the first ledge to the back of the locked door. Go past the door to the chest location and the blue medallion will be hanging on your left.

Castle Gate Blue Medallion #6

The final Castle Gate Blue Medallion is hidden off the north edge of the map. From within the small building (close to medallions #3 and #5) look up to the wooden platforms built on the castle wall. The Blue Medallion is hanging under the left end of the platform.

And with that, you’ve successfully found all six Resident Evil 4 Castle Gate Blue Medallions. Head on to the merchant and you can earn a valuable reward of spinels. Don’t forget to grab that treasure map for more rewards in future!
