Steam Spring Sale is officially underway, discounting a whole range of games for a week in March.
Steam sales are always a hazard to our bank balances, but this sale has been targeted towards Steam Deck owners (or would-be owners) more than most.
The sale itself runs from March 16 - 23 and brings the usual cavalcade of discounts to games across Steam’s mighty catalog. with so many games on sale, you’ll want to scour the sales page yourself to see if anything catches your eye, but we’ve picked out a few highlights below that are well worth looking over.
- Dead Space remake – 15% off
- Sonic Frontiers – 33% off
- Cyberpunk 2077 – 50% off
- Warhammer 40K: Darktide – 20% off
- Resident Evil Village – 50% off
- Total War: Warhammer 3 – 33% off
- Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice – 50% off
- Assassin’s Creed Valhalla – 67% off
There are also several franchise sales, including discounts on the full Resident Evil catalog ahead of the release of the Resident Evil 4 remake.

The real star of the show, however, is the Steam Deck. In celebration of its first year of gaming, Valve’s handheld PC gaming machine is 10% off until the end of the Spring Sale. You can also check out the 100 most-played games on Steam Deck, the large proportion of which are currently discounted during the sales.
For those new to the machine, standout titles to pick up on the cheap include Vampire Survivors, Dead Cells, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice, Titanfall 2, and Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales.
The Steam Deck is also ideal for playing digital board games, and conveniently many of them are currently on sale too. Concordia and Gloomhaven are both down 30%, while Wingspan and the versatile Tabletop simulator are 50% off.
