Porter Robinson X League of Legends music video is the most anime thing to ever happen

Electropop icon Porter Robinson has scored a music video for Riot Games for LoL's Star Guardian event.

EDM producer and noted gamer Porter Robinson has lent his music-making prowess to Riot Games for a League of Legends music video. The result is so many layers of anime fanservice you'll need TVTropes open in a second tab to unpick them all.

League is currently running a Star Guardians event with chroma skins for a handful of the most anime-friendly of its roster, so the perfect soundtrack is Porter Robinson's sweet mix of synths and bass.

The 30-year-old artist recently produced a music pack for the game, and has had his tracks featured in games for the past decade, starting with Forza Horizon in 2012, as he turned 18.

Today's music video, Everything Goes On, features well-known League personalities transforming, magical girl-style, into defenders against evil. It's worth a look for the animation quality alone.

Robinson's previous forays into anime music videos include the incredible animation for Shelter, in collaboration with A-1 Pictures and Crunchyroll, which also fully rips.

You can find out more about LoL's Star Guardian 2022 event on the main Riot Games site.
