At the end of Mission 1: The Atlantic Wall, you’ll be asked to find Marcell in Sniper Elite 5. While his safehouse location is fairly straightforward, the method to find Marcell, grab his key, and unlock his safe is easy to miss. In this guide we’ll how to get Marcell’s key so you can secure the hidden information and complete the first level of Sniper Elite 5.
Sniper Elite 5: Where to find Marcel

Marcell’s Safehouse is in the bottom left corner of the Mission 1 map, in the same town as the Kill List target: Steffen Beckendorf. Sneak or fight your way past the Nazis within the town until you reach the yellow building in the bottom corner of the map, as marked above.
If you head inside and to the upstairs bedroom, you’ll be able to see a safe hidden by the bed, but without Marcell’s key, you can’t open it. To grab the key and find Marcell, you need to hear back outside of the building. On the front and back walls of the building are green vines which grow up to the inaccessible third floor.

Approach the base of the vines and you can climb up them to reach the upper window and access the allied safehouse. This is where you’ll find Marcell in Sniper Elite 5 but unfortunately, he’s bled out from an injury. The good news is that he still has his key on him. Search the body to find Marcell’s key, then stock up on any supplies you might need from the room. There’s also a workbench here you can use to customize your weapons.

Once you’ve got what you need, head into the smaller room upstairs and interact with the floor panels to push them out of the way so you can drop down. You can now head to the bedroom and access the safe for the intelligence files stored there. Grab them and you’ll be tasked with exfiltrating at a small farmhouse just north of the town.
