Summer Games Done Quick 2022 schedule sees Elden Ring enter the fray

Alongside speedruns of Kirby and the Forgotten Land, Tunic, Phasmophobia, and more.

Annual charity-driven speedrunning celebration, Summer Games Done Quick, returns next month, and the full schedule for SGDQ 2022 is now available to peruse.

Summer Games Done Quick 2022 will run as a continuous livestream for a week straight, kicking off on Sunday, June 26th, and concluding on Sunday, July 3. As ever it's a packed event, with more than 120 speedruns crammed into the full timetable. It's been a big year for game releases so far, and that makes it no surprise that a wealth of new titles have popped up in the speedrunning marathon’s schedule.

Elden Ring is likely to be one of the show's biggest draws, but viewers will need to wait to watch it blitzed through. The latest FromSoftware release will be zipped through in rapid time at the end of the show. An All Remembrances run – that’s taking down 15 major bosses – is due to take place on Sunday, July 3 at 9:25pm PT (10:25pm ET / 3:25am BST).

If donation targets are reached, we’ll then get to see that followed up by an Any% run. Given players are now managing to beat the game in less than 10 minutes, we wouldn’t advise breaking even for a coffee when the first run concludes or you might miss it.

Also joining the line up is Kirby and the Forgotten Land. The cutesy adventure will form part of the show’s opening day alongside Tunic. Other intriguing additions include an Any% small maps run of co-op ghost hunter Phasmophobia, Hallo Infinite’s No Tank Gun run, and a Bonus game Half-Life: Alyx VR speedrun.

You can take a look at the full Sumer Games Done Quick 2022 schedule here for all the games included. The stream is being hosted to support Doctors Without Borders (Medecins Sans Frontières). An in-person event will be present this year, with proof of vaccination and masks required for all event areas. As usual, the entire show will be broadcast on the GamesDoneQuick Twitch channel, so head there to watch live when things kick off on June 26.
