Pikmin Bloom adds Sushi Decor to your Pikmin chic

Fresh air meets fresh food.

A new update to mobile-based exploration and walking game Pikmin Bloom adds a new type of Pikmin you can grow to join your collection.

New locations have been adeed as points of interest to Niantic’s wander-encouraging game, with extra forms of sushi outfit, or Sushi Decor as Pikmin Bloom calls it, available to discover during your outings.

The new additions can be collected in the same manner as hairdressers and other themed Pikmin currently in the game. That is to say, you’ll only find Pikmin with a penchant for dressing in fresh sashimi or nigiri when taking a stroll near to your local sushi or Japanese restaurants.

Grab a seedling close to a sushi restaurant and now it might just pop out of the pot with adornment of tasty rice after it's fully grown. Naturally Pikmin Bloom will have to have registered your local sushi restaurant as point of interest. Those living in major cities will, of course, have better luck hunting these new looks down, though it's likely the list of locations will be updated over time as well.

Missing out may not be such a downside, however, as we can only imagine how bad Sushi outfits would likely to smell after a week of wandering around picking up fruit and seedling pots from your local neighborhood. If nothing else, though, it's a good excuse to travel for a tasty meal out.

Pikmin Bloom is available to download on iOS and Android devices. What outfits would you like to see added to Pikmin Bloom? let us know in the comments below.
