The best place to get wood in Pokémon Legends: Arceus early is in the Obsidian Fieldlands, close to Deertrack Path. Wood appears in almost all regions, but only in certain spots near to trees.

Wood appears on the ground as small log segments. They’re very easy to miss while riding on a mount, so we recommend exploring on foot if you’re aiming to find wood. We found three wood locations in the Obsidian Fieldlands, as marked on the map below.

You’ll only need three wood to craft a Pokeshii doll, so a single trip to the Obsidian Fieldlands will be enough to get what’s required. That makes this a great place to farm wood in Pokémon Legends: Arceus.

The fastest way to reach the area is by spawning at Aspiration Hill, then heading down and across the bridge. All the wood spawn locations will be to the left and right of the path just after you cross the bridge. Keep your eyes peeled for small chunks of wood laying in the spaces between the narrow trees here.
