Square Enix reveals Final Fantasy VII Remake PC requirements

If you want 4K, you'll have to fill in the blanks.

During last night’s Game Awards on December 9, 2021, several videogame announcements happened. So many videogame announcements. A few of them came from Square Enix throughout the show, one of which being the introduction of a PC version for Final Fantasy VII Remaster Intergrade. Today, we got a peek at the system requirements.

On Twitter, Square Enix provided an infographic displaying the minimum and recommended system requirements for Final Fantasy VII Remake. Check the image out for yourself right here:

The system requirements seem pretty generous, although it’s worth noting the recommended specs are based on a 1440p resolution. Final Fantasy VII Remake can go up to 4K, so if that’s what you’re trying to pull off you’ll want to keep that in mind.

Exclusive to the Epic Games Store, this version of Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade will arrive on December 16. The game is listed on the store now for wishlisting, and the store’s home page indicated a $69.99 base price, on par with the PlayStation 5 version. There has been very little news on the inevitable sequel, although the management team has spoken to it being in development.

In other Final Fantasy news, the Endwalker expansion for Final Fantasy XIV is live, albeit with some peak time server issues. Final Fantasy XVI is also in the works, although news on that has been scarce as well.
