Smash Ultimate 13.0.1 patch brings final balance changes

Buffs and nerfs abound in Smash Ultimate's final balance patch.

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate has received its final balance patch, leaving the full roster in their final state of balance.

Nintendo has called time on updates for Smash Ultimate. Sora, the final DLC fighter for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, was revealed less than two months ago. After making his entry and completing the game’s roster on October 18, it seems Nintendo has waited long enough to deliver the final adjustments to the game’s full fighting force.

The game’s official Japanese Twitter account confirmed the news, citing the release at the “last update” for the game that will relate to the balance of its character roster. That means, thankfully, we can still expect support updates for any future game-ruining bugs that pop out of the woodwork. It also doesn’t rule out future Spirit Board events for players to take part in.

Outside of balancing, the update also adds support for the Metroid Dream Samus and EMMI amiibos. Both figures will allow you to claim spirits when registered.
