As in previous Call of Duty titles, Vanguard’s weapons are split into several categories including handguns, shotguns, SMGs, assault rifles, marksman rifles, sniper rifles, LMGs, launchers, and melee. We’ve broken our Call of Duty: Vanguard weapons list down using the same format below so you can easily find each weapon in a given class. We’ve also listed the levels at which they’ll unlock within the game’s multiplayer. 

Handguns

There are six handguns available at Call of Duty: Vanguard’s launch. Only the Ratt is available at level 1.

Shotguns

There are four shotguns available at Call of Duty: Vanguard’s launch. Only the Einhorn Revolving Shotgun is available at level 1.

• Double Barrel (level 49)

SMGs

There are six SMGs available at Call of Duty: Vanguard’s launch. Only the MP-40 is available at level 1.

Assault Rifles

There are seven assault rifles available at Call of Duty: Vanguard’s launch. Only the STG44 will be available to use at level 1.

Marksman Rifles

There are just three marksman rifles available at Call of Duty: Vanguard’s launch. The first rifle to unlock is the M1 Garand at level 6.

Sniper Rifles

There are just three sniper rifles available at Call of Duty: Vanguard’s launch. Only the Type 99 is available at level 1.

LMGs

There are four LMGs available at Call of Duty: Vanguard’s launch. Only the MG42 is available at level 1.

Launchers

There are four launchers available at Call of Duty: Vanguard’s launch. The first to unlock is the M1 Bazooka at Level 11.

Melee weapons

There are only two melee weapons available at Call of Duty: Vanguard’s launch. The first to unlock is the FS Fighting Knife Secondary. The second, the Combat Shield, is equipped as a primary.
