The titular town of Moonglow Bay, from Bunnyhug and Coatsink's new Xbox exclusive, may be small, but there's a lot to unlock there. The whole game is focused on rebuilding the local economy, so as you go, more and more shops and systems become available to you. One of these is the Sea Market, which is a total game changer. Here's how to unlock it.
How to unlock the Sea Market in Moonglow Bay
The Sea Market in Moonglow Bay isn't available until Chapter 2. If you're having trouble finishing up the first chapter, our guide can help. Once you've started Chapter 2, you'll arrive back at your home dock, where a man will be waiting to let you know that your actions regarding the whale and your street food business have caught some attention from someone called Parris Lavoie. A marker will be added to your map so you can go meet them.
As it turns out, Parris is the proprietor of the Sea Market, and once he gets over his fear that you're trying to oust him, he's very on board with you helping out the community. He instructs you to go visit three of the town's best anglers to get tips and tricks from them. In order for the market to open for business, you have to find all three and complete each of their fishing challenges.
This is a pretty straight forward process. You first meet Sophie, who gives you the Strong Rod and challenges you to catch three fish with it up in the Icy Stakes. When you return with the fish, Sophie will have found Felix, who gives you the Poise Rod and sends you out on another three fish challenge in a different area. William is the final fisherperson, who will provide you with the Agile Rod and send you on your way for the last challenge. Once all three are complete and you return to Moonglow Bay, Parris will have the Sea Market open for you.
What is the Sea Market?
The Sea Market is an area where you can buy and sell cooking supplies, ingredients, and bait. That last one is especially important, as the Sea Market is the easiest place to find High Grade bait. You can also come here to sell your extra fish, pick up ingredients you're out of for dishes, and purchase new cooking tools and recipes.
