Deathloop gas room solution guide

Escape from the Man Behind the Glass with our guide

While traversing the island of Blackreef in Deathloop, you'll come across multiple different areas that change depending on the time of day you visit them. A few of these areas have additional puzzle sections you'll need to solve to get the most out of them. One of these is in Fristad Rock, where you'll find a man sitting behind a glass screen. You can talk to this guy, but eventually he'll lock you in the room and release deadly gas. Here's how to solve the gas room puzzle and escape.

To start, face the man behind the glass. On the left you should see a small staircase. Go up and keep your eyes peeled for a metal box.

Equip your Hackamajig and use it to hack the antenna above the metal box once you find it. This will open the box and give you the Gas Drainage Protocols. You'll get some pretty vague directions on how to vent the gas from this document, but you'll need them to escape.

The way you're actually going to break free of the deadly room is by pulling some levers in the correct order. You should see a door next to the box you just opened; right across from it is a whiteboard. There are three numbers written on the board, which are randomized each time. Take note of the numbers, then return to the metal box.

Beneath it, you'll find some wooden slats that you can kick to break, revealing a secret entrance. Use this opening to access the next room, where you'll find three levers, each labeled with the numbers you previously saw written on the whiteboard.

Pull the levers that correspond to those numbers, then go back to the previous room with the box. Push the red button in the box, and you'll get some more dialogue from your captor before you're able to escape through the now open boathouse door.
