Get one quickly and you’ll score an easy reward.

The Haul A Quin automaton is located in Karl’s Bay, very close to the tunnels exit. It’s at the turning point of the street you arrive out on. The machine requires a battery to activate, but finding one isn’t always straightforward.

One of the simplest ways to get a battery for the Haul A Quin in Deathloop is to find a nearby turret. Arrive at the right time of day and there should be one on the roof of the building opposite the Haul A Quin. Take out the Eternalist next to it, hack the turret, and power it up. You'll find a battery at its base that can be used with the Haul a Quin.

Otherwise, one of the next best way to grab a battery is to make use of the island’s delivery booth system. This requires a bit of effort to unlock initially, but once you have the code, you can request an item on every single loop.

We’ve got a full guide to the delivery booth code location here, but the short of it is that you need to head to Fia’s fortress in Fristad Rock at Noon. The code is located in a room just inside the bunker entrance. Again, read our full guide to learn the code in your game.

Once you have the code, all you need to do is approach a delivery booth in any zone during Morning or Noon and request an item. Ask to have it send to Karl’s Bay, then pick a Battery as your choice.

You can then return to Karl’s Bay during the Afternoon time stage to claim your item. The Delivery booth is found by following the road to the left as you come out of the tunnels. At the large gateway, the delivery booth will be found on your right. Interact with it and enter the code again to claim your battery.

Head back to the Haul A Quin and place the battery to be rewarded with a little animation, a tune, and a Sleek Weapon Trinket. It’s not the most spectacular reward, but an unusual one that’s worth earning once.

Where did this robot come from? To learn a bit more about that, you’ll need to solve the Yerhva puzzle located nearby. It’ll let you know that there were a number of them produced in Blackreef’s past, but this model is the only one remaining.

Now that you’ve found the Deathloop Haul A Quin battery you can move on to more exciting pursuits like the Sepulchra Breteira sniper rifle. Otherwise, head to our hub page to learn more tips and tricks for Blackreef island.
