A Plague Tale, Black Ops 4 headline July's PlayStation Plus games

July's free PS+ games for subscribers will include A Plague Tale: Innocence on PS5.

The PlayStation Plus July free games will include A Plague Tale: Innocence for PS5 owners, Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 on the PS4 and the arcadey wrestling game WWE 2K Battlegrounds.

You also still have another month to grab Virtua Fighter 5 Ultimate Showdown, which released through the subscription service in June and is available until August 2, as are the other July PS+ games.

You can download A Plague Tale: Innocence to PS5, or Black Ops 4 and WWE Battlegrounds to your PS4 or PS5 from July 6. The PS5 version of A Plague Tale: Innocence has been bumped up to 4K native resolution with a 60fps framerate target, as well as quicker loads thanks to that speedy SSD.

Black Ops 4 comes with all three multiplayer modes, though the Blackout battle royale mode has been superseded by the all-encompassing Warzone at this point. And WWE Battlegrounds also lets you take the arcade fight online, or just in local multiplayer with your pals, as wrestling games should be enjoyed.

June's PlayStation Plus games, Star Wars: Squadrons and Operation: Tango, will cease to be free to add to your library from July 5, so make sure you don't miss out on those.
