PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds free with Xbox One X purchase

Another opportunity to snag a free copy of PUBG with your new Xbox One X.

A new promotion from Microsoft has officially launched that offers a free copy of PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds to anyone who purchases an Xbox One X console for a limited time.

The promotion is set to run from February 18 until February 24 in the United States, and will last up to March 4 in other countries. So, if you’ve been itching to pick up an Xbox One X, there’s a little extra incentive to wait until the promotion kicks off this Sunday.

In a new blog post, Larry “Major Nelson” Hryb commented on the new Xbox One X promo:

“The promotion will be available in most Xbox One markets for a limited time – starting February 18 through March 4. Start and end dates will vary by market – in the U.S., the promotion runs from February 18 through February 24 – so you’ll want to check with your local retailer for more information including [a] Microsoft Store near you or online.”

On top of Xbox One X purchases including a free copy of PUBG, there will also be a deal on the Xbox One S in the US which lowers the console’s total cost by $50. This sale includes the Xbox One S PUBG bundles set to launch on February 20, and will remain available until March 3. You can find additional information on pricing and promo dates in the official blog post via Major Nelson.
