PS Plus June games include Star Wars: Squadrons and more

With one game available for a full two months.

It’s officially a new month and that means a new suite of free games for PlayStation Plus members. June’s games are Operation: Tango, Star Wars: Squadrons, and Vitua Fighter 5 Ultimate Showdown.

Below is an overview of the games available starting June 1.

Operation: Tango (PS5)

Choose between agent or hacker in this cooperative spy adventure. Team up with a friend online and, using only your voice, work together to get through asymmetrical puzzles and bring down a hi-tech global menace.

Agents spend more time out in the field while hackers spend more time in the virtual world but regardless of which role you pick there’s always something on your to-do list. And if you find yourself stuck there’s a built-in hint system that gives you that extra help you need to accomplish your mission.

While online-only, Operation: Tango supports both cross-play and a Friend Pass, allowing you to invite a friend to play with you for free even if they’re on a different platform as long as they download the trial version of the game.

Communication is key so both players will need working microphones to play.

Operation: Tango will be available to download until Monday, July 5.

Star Wars: Squadrons (PS4)

Get ready for some space Dogfights with Star Wars: Squadrons. This first-person multiplayer game takes place after the events of Return of the Jedi and is viewed from alternating perspectives of two factions.

And the entirety of it can be played on PlayStation VR for an even more immersive experience while piloting starfighters including the X-wing, TIE fighter, and more complete with customizable loadouts and cosmetics.

Star Wars: Squadrons will be available until Monday, July 5.

Virtua Fighter 5 Ultimate Showdown (PS4)

Originally coming to consoles in the mid-2000’s, Virtua Fighter 5 has been remade by Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio, most known for developing Yakuza and Judgement. This console exclusive includes classic modes like Ranked Match, Arcade, Training, and Versus but also comes with brand new online modes such as Tournaments and League, allowing you to compete with up to 16 players.

And, of course, this remaster brings updated character models, stages, and cinematics allowing you to get that classic VF5 feeling but this time in HD.

In addition to being available for a full two months with PS Plus, Virtua Fighter 5 Ultimate Showdown is also coming to PlayStation Now in June too.

Virtua Fighter 5: Ultimate Showdown will be available until Monday, August 2.
