Get the Sniper Rifle in Resident Evil Village

You can get the Sniper Rifle in Resident Evil Village while exploring Castle Dimitrescu’s upper levels, as you hunt for the four masks. The F2 rifle is located in the Attic. It's not easy to miss, but you can grab it earlier if you head there before other sectors of the castle. You’ll be able to reach this area not long after you explore the Opera Hall and obtain the Iron Insignia Key.
The area you’re aiming to head towards is on the northern side of Castle Dimitrescu’s second floor (2F), in the Hall of Joy area. You’ll pass by the statue containing the mask of Joy, then enter a large room with a painting of Lady Dimitrescu. In here you must solve the five bells puzzle in order to progress. Complete that and you’ll unlock a ladder up to the attic, where you can find a goat idol and a useful treasure map which points to the Azure Eye.

Continue through the attic to the room beyond to find the Sniper Rifle (called the F2 Rifle) resting on a chair. The F2 Rifle starts with the following stats:
- Power: 600
- Rate of Fire: 2
- Reload Speed: 3.7
- Ammo Capacity: 4
Once you get the Sniper Rifle in Resident Evil Village, you should be prepared to use it. The rooftops ahead are teeming with flying enemies which can drop extremely valuable rewards. We recommend looking up and to the right as you exit into the snow to spot one perched on the edge of the roof. Shoot this for a valuable Crystal Wing drop.
