Castle Dimitrescu’s statue puzzle is one of the first you’ll encounter in the Hall of Ablution, and puts you under pressure with the large lady herself on your heels and a mysterious text about male advances. The Castle Dimitrescu statue puzzle in Resident Evil Village is encountered as you flee from Dimitrescu and enter a large room with a pool of wine in the center. It'll be called the Hall of Ablution on your map. To solve it you must rotate four statues to the correct orientation, matching the clue provided on the wall:
“Women are blind to male advances, but the poor shall take their chances to give their lord their bounty sown, so that soon the wine may flow.”
To complete the statue puzzle in Resident Evil Village, you must turn the two statues of women on the right of the room such that they are facing towards one another (and away from the men). The horse rider statue (the lord from the clue) must face towards the statue holding the wine bottle on the right side. Finally, the group of three men with offerings (the poor) must face towards the horse rider.

If you’re struggling with the order at all, align the statues as shown in the image above. This will cause the wine to drain from the central pool of the room, opening a new pathway down through the floor. Don’t forget to shoot the goat idol after you climb down the ladder!
