New Pokemon Snap’s Shockingly Well Done request is completed on the Florio Park (Day) level, at Research Level 2 or 3. What you’re aiming to capture is a photo of Emolga using its electricity to cook fluffruit.

Completing the Shockingly Well Done request is quite easy, so long as you know the exact spot to look. As you travel through the level, wait until you pass over a small stone bridge early in the course. The course track will curve around to the left, but the pile of fluffruit we’re looking for are on the ground to the right. This pile will be scannable as a point of interest, but you don’t have to scan it in order to complete the Shockingly Well Done request.

Once you spot the pile of fruit, throw a fluffruit (press B) into the middle of the pile.So long as it lands close to the fruits on the ground, you’ll see the Emolga drop down from the tree and run over. Wait for Emolga to hop into the air and shock the fruit you dropped with electricity before you take a photo.Grab a photo of this in motion and you’ll not just complete the Shockingly Well Done request, you’ll also secure a 4-Star photo of Emolga (though the score isn’t likely to be high).

Once you’ve grabbed the photo, you still need to submit it to Professor Mirror. Even if you’ve already got a 4-Star photo of Emolga (there’s an easy one available on the same level simply for lighting up the Crystabloom flower to the left soon after). So long as Professor Mirror rates the photo of Emolga shocking the fruit, you’ll see the Request Complete message pop up for the Shockingly Well Done request in New Pokemon Snap. You don’t need to save the photo to your Pokedex to complete it.

Now that you’ve learned how to complete the Shockingly Well Done request in New Pokemon Snap, make sure you return to the requests menu to claim your reward from Professor Mirror! Visit our New Pokemon Snap hub page to find more
