To delete items in Dyson Sphere Program, open your inventory by pressing the C key. From here, find the item you want to delete and select it. While selected and holding the item of choice, all you need to do is hit the Delete key on your keyboard to remove it from your inventory permanently. Hold the item for a few seconds and this prompt will appear on the right side of the screen, but it's easy enough to miss. You an pick up multiple stacks of items to delete at once by holding shift, or use Ctrl click to pick up all the items of that type in one go.

Remember, this is a one way removal, so once an item is deleted, you can't ever get it back. To that end, you should only delete items in Dyson Sphere Program that you’re certain you won’t need in future. If you change your mind, you can hit right click to return the item to your inventory.

If you aren’t clear on whether you’ll want it later, we recommend constructing a storage crate (called a MK Logistics Crate) to keep all of those resources that are clogging up your main inventory. This will save you some room while also ensuring you don’t accidentally remove valuable items. You can quickly and easily bulk move items over into a storage crate, making it a very effective way to make room.

Again, to delete items in Dyson Sphere Program, perform the following steps:

  • Press C to open your inventory
  • Select or hold the item you wish to delete
  • Press the Delete key on your keyboard

And that’s all you need to know about how to delete items in Dyson Sphere Program. It’s a simple enough command, but the game doesn’t really teach you how to do it. Make sure you take care not to accidentally delete items in future, as there’s no recovering them once you realize it was a mistake.
