Genshin Impact Loach Pearl locations

Learn where to find Loach Pearls in Genshin Impact with our locations guide.

Loach Pearls are one of many collectable items in Genshin Impact, and while they don’t have a purpose at the time of writing, it seems likely that developer miHoYo will have a goal for them in the long run. In case you want to stock up or you’re reading this after a crucial update, we’ve marked the Loach Pearl locations in Genshin Impact below so you can farm them easily.

You can find Loach Pearls in Genshin Impact by tracking down Golden Loach in the waters of a Dihua Marsh in the Liyue region. At the time of writing, this is the only place you can find Golden Loach, and therefore Loach Pearls as well. Golden Loach appear as small amphibians along the waterline, and it shouldn’t take too long running around in the right area before you see one pop up. All you need to do is run up to the Golden Loach and interact to grab a few Loach Pearls.

If you’re looking for a more dedicated harvest, you’ll find Genshin Impact Loach Pearl locations at all the spots marked on the map below. Work your way between them and find a closely spawning group to farm Loach Pearls for as long as you desire. We’re sure that once there’s a proper purpose to them, your time won’t have been wasted.

As noted previously, Genshin Impact’s Loach Pearls don’t have any purpose that we know of in the game so far. However, given they were included in a recent global birthday message, it seems likely they’ll be given a role (perhaps as an Ascension item) before too long. That or all this time spent fishing will be for nothing.

That’s all we can teach you about Genshin Impact Loach Pearl locations and uses. But if you’re after more handy guides then click here to shoot off to our Genshin Impact hub page.
