You can grab a free Resident Evil Village avatar on PS4 or PS5 right now

A bewitching option.

A free Resident Evil Village player avatar is available right now on PS4 and PS5.

If you’re desperate to dive into Resident Evil Village or are keen to share your want for witches and werewolves, this freebie is for you.

Shared by Wario64 on Twitter, the avatar depicts the extraordinarily tall witch lady shown off in the tease for the upcoming Resident Evil Showcase stream. She’s proven quite popular online, but will that interest convince any folks to adjust their oh-so-precious Avatars? You’ll just have to check your friends lists in the next few days.

If you’d like to grab the free Resident Evil Village avatar, you’ll want to head to the PlayStation Store and choose to redeem code. If you’re using the web version, click your avatar in the top right after logging in and select Redeem Codes. On the PS4 or PS5 stores, open the menu on the left and scroll down the options to select Redeem Codes.

Here’s the Resident Evil Village avatar code which you'll need to redeem:

  • LEJH-M8N9-E5XF

Simply paste that in the code box and accept to grab your own avatar image. To change your avatar after unlocking it, sign in to your PlayStation account here, click on your profile picture on the right-hand side of the screen and select Edit Profile. Click the Edit button next to your avatar and you should find the Resident Evil Village avatar image available to select. This can also be achieved through the profile sections of the PS4 or PS5 menus.

Once you’ve got the Resident Evil Village avatar, don’t forget to check out the Resident Evil Showcase next week to find out more about the game. A new trailer and gameplay footage is expected, giving us our best look at the spooky sequel to Resident Evil 7 so far. You can learn when the stream is due to take place by clicking here.
