Genshin Impact winter events guide

Here's the dates and rewards for all the current Genshin Impact winter events.

To celebrate the release of Genshin Impact's 1.2 patch, developer miHoYo has announced a few new events, including one that will be running until February 2021. Version 1.2 is currently live on Nintendo Switch, mobile, PC, and PlayStation 4. Here's a list of each new event, their rewards, and their end dates.

  • The Chalk Prince and The Dragon: The Chalk Prince and The Dragon is the headline event for 1.2. It introduces Genshin Impact's newest character Albedo, a sword-wielding Geo alchemist, and allows players the chance to get Festering Desire--a four-star sword--for free from December 23 until January 1. 
  • Adventurer's Booster Bundles: These bundles usually contain resources like Mora, Genesis Crystals, and Adventure XP. They will be available from December 23 until January 6.
  • Secretum Secretorum Character Wish Event, Albedo: This event provides the opportunity to snag a five-star version of Albedo. It's running from December 23 until January 12.
  • Character Trial Event: This is a challenge you have to complete with a set team to earn rewards. This one features Albedo, Sucrose, Bennett, and Fischl, and runs from December 23 until January 12.
  • Epitome Invocation: This weapon event provides the opportunity to earn five-star sword Summit Sharper, and five-star catalyst Skyward Atlas. It's live from December 23 until January 12.
  • Stellar Reunion: This weapon event provides the opportunity to earn four-star sword Prototype Rancour. It's only running for two weeks so be sure to get on it before it ends!
  • Mountaineer's Endurance: This event allows players to gain either a Gnostic Hymn or a Gnostic Chorus to earn Intertwined Fate and "designated four-star weapon." It's running from December 23 until February 1.

These events will also provide opportunities to earn other in-game goodies like Primogems, Fragile Resin, Essence, and more.
