You will start the Path of Wisdom on a levitating platform with a chest on it in the Kyrian section of the Bastion. The chest is locked and can only be opened if you have something called Proof of Wisdom. To get it, you will need to solve an environmental puzzle.

On the edge of the first platform behind the treasure chest, you will see a glowing blue square. This is a transport pad. Stand on it and it will take you to another floating platform. This one has a brazier in the center with Incense of Knowledge in it. Ignore that for now and head for the transport pad on this platform. The next platform hosts Incense of Patience. Go ahead and use it.

Now you need to head back to the first platform and use the Incense of Knowledge. Then go to the platform after the one that held Incense of Patience and use the Incense of Insight. Next up is the platform with Incense of Judgement and use the orb on the edge. This orb will take you to the real Incense of Judgement. Use it, and then the transport pad will give you Proof of Wisdom.

To summarize, here's the incense order you need to use to get Proof of Wisdom:

  • Patience
  • Knowledge
  • Insight
  • Judgement Orb
  • Judgement

Once you have Proof of Wisdom, you will be able to open the treasure chest on the first platform. This is the Gift of Thenios, the Paragon of Wisdom. The chest will grant you anima, the resource required for Covenants, along with the Harmonious Sigil of the Archon, though only players who are members of the Kyrian Covenant will get this item.
