Bugsnax will be the first PS5 free game for PS+ subs in November

You can download Bugsnax on launch for PS5 at no cost if you have a PS+ subscription.

November's PS+ free games have been revealed, including the quirky PS5 launch game Bugsnax which will be the first free title on the next gen console.

Bugsnax will be free to PS+ subscribers on the PS5 when it launches on November 12, however PS4 players will not receive the previous generation version of the game.

Other PS+ games for November include Middle-Earth: Shadow of War and Hollow Knight: Voidheart Edition, both very good games in their own right, and playable on both PS4 and PS5.

The PS4 free PS+ games will be available to download on Tuesday, November 3 and you can add them to your library up until November 30. And when the PS5 launches on November 12 you can get Bugsnax, as well as any of the games added to the PlayStation Plus Collection. This includes Sony's first-party studio titles including The Last of Us Remastered, God of War and Uncharted 4, as well as third-party games such as Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy, Resident Evil 7 and Persona 5 (not the expanded Royal version).

All games in the PS+ Collection will be enhanced through PS5's Game Boost for better loading speeds and framerates, which should go some way to making Bloodborne the game of the year for a fifth year running.

Are you excited to play Bugsnax on your PS5 at launch for no extra money other than the hundreds you've sunk into a new console? Or are you going to play Bloodborne for the fourth time? Those are the only two options.
