So what is it you'll be getting from the Genshin Impact devs on your birthday? A cake! More specifically, a Cake for Traveler. This cake isn't just a sweet treat, however. It will grant you two Fragile Resin, which can in turn be redeemed for 60 Original Resin per Fragile Resin. That's a total of 120 Original Resin from your cake. Not too shabby.
Original Resin can be used to get some decent rewards from Abyssal Domains, Leyline Blossoms, and some bosses you'll encounter in the open world. Some of Genshin Impact's rarer rewards come from these sources, so a Cake for Traveler is a gift that may well keep on giving.
How to set your birthday in Genshin Impact
To set your birthday in Genshin Impact, all you have to do is go to the Pause Menu and select the button next to your name. You will be able to set your birthday from here but be warned: you can only set your birthday once, so you can't get more than one Cake for Traveler a year. If you want your present sooner rather than later, it might be wise to set your birthday for tomorrow instead of whenever it actually is, but that's between you and Genshin Impact.
