They’re new arrivals this month, but pick them up and you’ll be able to keep the unsettling atmosphere all year round. In preparation for Halloween this year, Animal Crossing: New Horizons has added a suite of new customization options for players to mess around with. If you want to paint your skin an unsettling shade of blue or green, you’ll first need to pick up the Body-Pain Costume Tips and Exploring New Eye Colors packs from the Nook Stop. They’re available from the Nook Miles Redemption section for 2,400 each, and upon purchase will be added to your options immediately.

To access the Halloween eye colors and body paints in Animal Crossing: New Horizons, you then need to visit a mirror or vanity, just like you would for a usual character customization swap.
Check the Eyes tab and you’ll find you’ve got several new eye color options to choose from, including glowing orange! Likewise if you head to the Skin Tone section, the skin color selection will have been expanded to include blue and green colors.

While quite unnatural, the new options are a lot of fun to play around with, and make for an entertaining change during the spookiest month of the year! Who knows, you might come to like your blue skin so much that you keep it for the rest of the year as well.
