It looks like The Stanley Parable: Ultra Deluxe has been delayed once again to the dismay of fans. Originally, The Stanley Parable: Ultra Deluxe was scheduled to release in 2019, but that date was eventually replaced by 2020, and now 2020 has been scratched out and replaced by 2021.

Crows Crows Crows announced the delay of The Stanley Parable: Ultra Deluxe today via a series of tweets. The first delay image was a copy of the one for Halo Infinite with game information swapped out and The Stanley Parable: Ultra Deluxe pasted in.
The second image was a copy of the delay announcement for Deathloop, again with the information swapped out and The Stanley Parable: Ultra Deluxe pasted in. We also got a Spider-Man delay image for The Stanley Parable: Ultra Deluxe which is… actually pretty wonderful.

The website also shows the 2020 release date scratched out and 2021 added alongside it.
Originally, The Stanley Parable: Ultra Deluxe was scheduled to release in 2019 but it’s suffered a number of delays since then. We’ve seen 2019 and 2020 scratched out, and we’re hoping the 2021 release date doesn’t suffer the same fate.
For those unfamiliar with The Stanley Parable: Ultra Deluxe, it’s described on the game’s official website as follows:
“From the liars who brought you the award-winning indie game The Stanley Parable comes The Stanley Parable: Ultra Deluxe, an expansion to the original game with more content, more endings, more whimsical adventures of the two best friends Stanley and The Narrator.”
If you’ve played The Stanley Parable in the past, you’ll know there are several different endings you can lock as you listen to or ignore The Narrator’s instructions. The game is crazy and hilarious and the news that we’re getting even more endings is exciting to say the least.
As with any delay, it’s likely a good thing as it gives the developers more time to improve the expansion and add more content to it where needed. The Stanley Parable: Ultra Deluxe is now scheduled to release in 2021 for PC and consoles.
