We hope you've been practicing your yee-haws recently, because Animal Crossing: New Horizons’ new Seasonal Items are celebrating cowboys, cowherds and weavers! If you’re interested to know more about the latest Seasonal Items to arrive in the store, we’ve got the details for you below.
New Animal Crossing Seasonal Items celebrate cowherds and weavers
The latest Animal Crossing: New Horizons seasonal items are the Rodeo-Style Springy Ride-On, the Hikoboshi outfit, and the Orihime Outfit. All of them can be obtained from the Nook Stop by searching in the Seasonal tab of Nook Shopping. This set is available until August 31, so you have plenty of time to pick them up during the month.
The Rode-Style Springy Ride-On costs 2,000 bells and is in celebration of the Festa do Peão in Brazil. It’s the same item as the usual Springy Ride-On, but colored in a less garish pink. It’s intended to celebrate festivals which feature rodeo challenges with both bulls and horses.
The Hikoboshi and Orihime outfits follow on from the previous Tanabata seasonal items. The festival celebrates the meeting of the two deities Hikoboshi and Orihime. Hikoboshi is a cowherd star, while Orihime is a weaver. The two were said to be incredibly diligent workers who, once united in love, let their work slip and were separated, only allowed to meet on the seventh day of the seventh month each year. To celebrate the story, the in-game outfits are kimonos dotted with a star pattern in blue and pink. They can be obtained for 2,500 bells each.
