Black Dye Merchant location in Ghost of Tsushima

You can find the Black Dye Merchant in Ghost of Tsushima in the Toyotama region, first accessible after you retake Castle Kaneda. The Black Dye Merchant location is a cave close to the east coast on the map, as shown on the image above. It's located southwest of Urashima's Village.
However, if you head straight up the coast, you’ll find yourself blocked by a Mongol encampment which kills you instantly if you approach. Instead of trying to push through, you need to head inland and loop around this base. You’ll find the Black Dye Merchant inside a bamboo grove. Look for a cave entrance surrounded by black fabric, and make your way inside. The Black Dye Merchant is also located right next to a Tale of Tsushima featuring a man who killed a bunch of bandits. Don’t worry if he accosts you on your way there, the quest won’t take you very far from the merchant.

Bear in mind that every armor outfit the Black Dye Merchant sells will cost you 10 Flowers, so you’ll want to bring plenty of them whenever you visit.
