Early on in your explorations in Grounded, you’ll need to seek out a way to refill your Thirst Meter. The best way to refill your Thirst Meter without any other negative effects is to find Clean Water. Of course, this is easier said than done. To simplify the process, we’ve put together a quick guide explaining where you can find Clean Water in Grounded.
Where to find Clean Water in Grounded
In Grounded, you’ll need to drink water in order to stay alive. To track when you need to drink water, you’ll want to keep an eye on your Thirst Meter. While exploring, you’ll likely pass a number of puddles on the ground. You can drink from these, but it’s somewhat detrimental to you.
Rather than rely on gross ground water, you’re going to want to spend some time looking for Clean Water in Grounded. The task may sound daunting, but it’s easier than you might expect. To get Clean Water, all you need to do is look up and seek out bubbles of water hanging off of grass blades.
When you spot a water bubble, you’ll need to knock it down to the ground in order to drink it. Don’t worry, even though the bubble lands on the ground it won’t break or become “dirty water” like the puddles on the ground. It’s completely safe to drink from and benefits you much, much more than puddle water.
The hard part here is actually getting the water bubble to fall off the grass. Essentially, you’ll need to throw something up there to disturb the bubble and get it to fall. One of the most common items you’ll find that you can throw are Pebblets. By tossing a Pebblet up at the water bubble, you should be able to knock it down.
In the event you don’t have a Pebblet on hand, you can technically do the same with any material you’re able to throw, or even a weapon if you have something like a bow and arrow. Of course, you don’t want to waste any tools, weapons, or resources for the sake of Clean Water.
Ideally, you should keep some common resources on hand like Pebblets to use whenever you need to knock down a quick drink of Clean Water.
Again, Clean Water can be found atop blades of grass. To drink it, you simply need to knock the water bubble down to the ground, approach it, and drink. Even though the water bubble lands on the ground, it won’t become Dirty Water, it’ll remain classified as Clean Water.
