It’s Friday, also known to us as “Xur Day” in Destiny 2. Not sure what we’re talking about? Every week, Xur appears at a random location selling an updated inventory of Exotic items.
Because Xur spawns at a random location rather than the same location each week, it can be a challenge to go through all of the areas where he might spawn. Searching for the location online can help save valuable time.
As for why Destiny 2 players visit Xur every week, it’s because they’re able to buy new Exotic items from Xur’s inventory which also refreshes every week.
To simplify everything, we’ve put together a quick guide explaining where you can find Xur in Destiny 2 and all of the Exotic items he has up for sale during the week of June 26, 2020.
Where to find Xur in Destiny 2 - June 26, 2020

Every week starting on Friday, Xur appears in Destiny 2 at a random location and acts as the game’s Exotic goods vendor. To purchase items from Xur, you’ll first need to find him by cycling through all of the locations Xur is known to appear. Doing this can be tedious and time-consuming, though.
To make things easier, you can look up Xur’s location online in guides like this one. Note that if you search for Xur before his spawn time of 10:00 a.m. (PST), 1:00 p.m. (EST), and 6:00 p.m. (BST), you may miss Xur even if you’re at the correct location.
We recommend waiting until the aforementioned time before you head out to meet with Xur. Once Xur appears in Destiny 2, he’ll stay in the same spot for a few days selling a random Exotic weapon along with Exotic armor pieces.
If you want to buy something from Xur, you have until Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. (PST), 1:00 p.m. (EST), and 6:00 p.m. (BST) to do so. After Tuesday, you’ll need to wait until the following Friday to buy Exotic items from Xur again. During the week of June 26, Xur can be found in the Winding Cove area of the Earth’s EDZ.
To reach Xur at this location, you’ll first need to spawn in the Winding Cove area, then hop on your Sparrow and make your way north towards a rocky cliff area. Make your way up a small path on the cliff’s edge, climb up the cliff edges, then head all the way back. There, you’ll see a downed Fallen ship and near this ship you should be able to spot Xur.

During the week of June 26 through June 30, you can visit Xur at the location outlined above. In speaking with Xur, you’ll be able to browse through his updated inventory of Exotic items. If you see something you like, you can purchase one or more of these items using Legendary Shards.
If you don’t see anything worth buying this week, rest assured that Xur’s inventory refreshes every week. You can always hold on to your Legendary Shards and visit Xur the following week to see if he has something better. In addition to Exotic armor for Hunters, Warlocks, and Titans, you’re able to purchase one Exotic weapon from Xur each week along with a Fated Engram.

During the week of June 26 through June 20 in Destiny 2, Xur is selling The Colony Exotic Grenade Launcher. If you’re a fan of grenade launchers in general and don’t already own one, The Colony isn’t a terrible pick-up. The Colony comes with the Intrinsic Perk, Insectoid Robot Grenades.
With this particular roll, you get a Trait called Serve The Colony which lets your Insectoid Robot Grenades rapidly repopulate the weapon’s magazine from your reserves, but only when The Colony isn’t equipped. It’s not… awful. That said, Xur has definitely had better inventory setups in previous weeks. This week is a little weak, pun intended.
Of the items Xur has on offer, the best option is undoubtedly the Phoenix Protocol. It’s got a 60+ stat roll, and it’s not bad looking either. If you own all of the Exotic items Xur has available for purchase this week, or you don’t see anything that grabs your attention, you can always hold on to your Legendary Shards and check back in with Xur next week to see if he has something you’d be willing to purchase.
