Gucci X Fnatic collab brings high fashion label to esports

The real Gucci gang rise up.

Esports org Fnatic and catwalk powerhouse Gucci are teaming up for a limited time drop that promises to be the most fashionable swag seen so far in competitive gaming.

The high fashion label is collaborating with British-headquartered Fnatic for an apparel drop on June 25 at 9pm BST/4pm ET. You can check out upcoming drops, and likely the links to their collections as they go live, here.

There are no details of what to expect in the fashion collab just yet, but given Gucci's prestige as a mainstay on red carpets and catwalks across the world it's likely to be pretty special.

A teaser for the Gucci X Fnatic collab was posted on Twitter, showing typically broody models in a gloomy factory about to sit down to some hardcore gaming on an RGB LED-covered rig. Not the usual environment for a fashion shoot but hopefully we'll make out more of what they're wearing when the full drop details arrive on Thursday.

That's not the only upcoming limited-time drop for Fnatic apparel, either. French streetwear brand Champion will be revealing their collab with the esports org on July 27, and yet another unnamed collaborator will be getting their chance in August.

Fnatic has been one of the more successful esports brands attracting sponsors and collaborators from outside the tech and gaming industry. Their official team merch bears the marque of BMW as the team's main headline sponsor, and they've even teamed up with other orgs like Cloud9 to offer dual team color apparel. Just hope they don't end up playing against each other in a final so you don't have to choose between your faves.

The Gucci X Fnatic collab drop will be available to purchase for a limited time on June 25 from 9pm BST/4pm ET. Make sure you don't miss your chance to look stylish while you pwn.
