It’s Friday, which means Xur’s back in Destiny 2. Every week, Xur appears at a random location selling an updated inventory of Exotic items. Because Xur spawns at a random location rather than the same location each week, it can be a hassle to go through all of the areas he’s known to spawn at.
Searching for the location online can help save valuable time. As for why Destiny 2 players visit Xur every week, it’s because they’re able to buy new Exotic items from Xur’s inventory which refreshes every week.
To make everything easier, we’ve put together a guide explaining where you can find Xur in Destiny 2 and all of the Exotic items he has up for sale during the week of June 19, 2020.
Where to find Xur in Destiny 2 - June 19, 2020

Xur appears in Destiny 2 at a random location every week starting on Friday and acts as the game’s Exotic goods vendor. To purchase items from Xur, you’ll first need to cycle through all of the locations Xur is known to appear in order to find him. Doing this can eat up quite a bit of time, though.
To make it easier on yourself, you can also look up his location online in guides like this one. Note that if you search for Xur before his spawn time of 10:00 a.m. (PST), 1:00 p.m. (EST), and 6:00 p.m. (BST), you may miss Xur even if you’ve made your way to the correct location.
We recommend waiting until the aforementioned time before you head out to meet with Xur.
Once Xur appears in Destiny 2, he’ll stay in the same spot for a few days selling both Exotic armor pieces and a random Exotic weapon. If you want to buy something from Xur, you have until Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. (PST), 1:00 p.m. (EST), and 6:00 p.m. (BST) to do so.
After Tuesday, you’ll need to wait until the following Friday to buy Exotic items from Xur again.
During the week of June 19, Xur can be found hanging around the Giant’s Scar region on IO. To get to Xur, you’ll first need to spawn into Giant’s Scar then use your Sparrow to travel up north and slightly west. Keep an eye out for a large cliff area.
Inside this cliff area is a small cave opening. Head into this cave and towards the back off to the right you’ll spot Xur.

During the week of June 19 through June 23, you can visit Xur at the location outlined above. When you speak to Xur, he’ll let you browse through his updated inventory of Exotic items.
If you see something you like, you can purchase these items from Xur in exchange for Legendary Shards. Xur’s inventory refreshes every week, so if you don’t see anything you want to buy this week, you can save your Legendary Shards and check back with Xur the following week.
In addition to Exotic armor for Warlocks, Titans, and Hunters, you can purchase one Exotic weapon from Xur each week along with a Fated Engram. During the week of June 19 through June 23 in Destiny 2, Xur has a Crimson Exotic Hand Cannon available for purchase. It’s been a while since we’ve seen a Crimson pop up in Xur’s inventory. If you enjoy rocking a Hand Cannon, the Crimson isn’t a bad purchase as it’s the only burst-fire Hand Cannon in Destiny 2.
It comes equipped with the Intrinsic Perk, Banned Weapon, which lets you fire a 3-round burst. The Crimson offered by Xur this week also includes the Trait, Cruel Remedy, which makes it so that scoring kills with the weapon heal you while precision kills refill the weapon’s magazine.
In addition to the Crimson Hand Cannon, Xur’s selling some nice Exotic armor pieces like The Dragon’s Shadow for Hunters and the MK. 44 Stand Asides for Titans. In particular, we really love The Dragon’s Shadow and feel like its Intrinsic Perk pairs well with the Crimson Hand Cannon.
This week, The Dragon’s Shadow offered by Xur has a 60+ stat roll which is pretty damn good for 23 Legendary Shards.
If you already own all of the Exotic items Xur has available for purchase, or you don’t see anything that grabs you this week, you can always hold on to your Legendary Shards and check back in with Xur next week to see if he has what you’re looking for.
