It’s Xur day, Xur day, gotta buy Exotics on Xur day… you know the drill. Every Friday in Destiny 2, Xur appears at a randomized location selling an updated inventory of Exotic items. Because Xur spawns at a random location rather than the same location each week, it can be a pain to cycle through areas he’s known to spawn at.
Searching the location online can help save time. As for why Destiny 2 players visit Xur every week, it’s because they’re able to buy new Exotic items from Xur’s inventory which refreshes every week. If you don’t see anything you want to buy from Xur one week, you can visit him again the following week to see if there’s anything worth buying.

Where to find Xur in Destiny 2 - June 12, 2020

Xur pops up in Destiny 2 at a random location every week starting on Friday and acts as the game’s Exotic goods vendor. To purchase items from Xur, you’ll first need to cycle through all of the locations Xur is known to appear. Doing this can eat up quite a bit of time. To save time, Destiny 2 players often look up his location online.
Note that if you search for Xur before his spawn time of 10:00 a.m. (PST), 1:00 p.m. (EST), and 6:00 p.m. (BST), you may miss Xur even if you’ve made your way to the correct location. We recommend waiting until the aforementioned time before you head out to meet with Xur.
Once Xur appears in Destiny 2, he’ll stay in the same spot for a few days selling both Exotic armor pieces and a random Exotic weapon. If you want to buy something from Xur, you have until Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. (PST), 1:00 p.m. (EST), and 6:00 p.m. (BST) to do so. After Tuesday, you’ll need to wait until the following Friday to buy Exotic items from Xur again.
During the week of June 12, Xur can be found on top of Calus’ Barge. To reach this location, you’ll first need to spawn on Nessus, then make your way over to the Watcher’s Grave area. Here, you’ll see a large ship (Calus’ Barge) which you can climb to the top of. At the top, you’ll spot Xur standing around, taking in the scenery.

What Xur is selling in Destiny 2 - June 12, 2020

During the week of June 12 through June 16, you can visit Xur at the location outlined above. When you speak to Xur, he’ll let you browse through his updated inventory of Exotic items. If you see something you like, you can purchase these items from Xur in exchange for Legendary Shards.
Xur’s inventory refreshes on a weekly basis, so if you don’t see anything you want to buy this week, you can save your Legendary Shards and check back with Xur the following week. In addition to Exotic armor for Warlocks, Hunters, and Titans, you can purchase one Exotic weapon from Xur each week as well as a Fated Engram.

During the week of June 12 through June 16 in Destiny 2, Xur has a Black Talon available for purchase. It’s not often that Xur has an Exotic sword on offer and not a weapon like an auto rifle or grenade launcher.
To top it off, the Black Talon Xur’s selling this week comes equipped with the Intrinsic Perk, Crow’s Wings, which lets you fire a projectile using your Heavy Attack. It also has Heavy Guard and the Trait, Tireless Blade. We don’t know about you, but we really enjoy using swords in Destiny 2 and the Black Talon is a particular favorite of ours.
In addition to the Black Talon, Xur also has some noteworthy Exotic armor pieces like the Promethium Spur Exotic leg armor for Warlocks which comes rolled with Embers of Light. If you own all of the Exotic items Xur has available for purchase, or you don’t see anything you like this week, you can save your Legendary Shards and check back in with Xur next week to see if he has something closer to what you’re looking for.
