Who wants to earn a whole new currency again? The answer had better be you, because Season of Arrivals has just launched for Destiny 2, and that means getting on the grind. Twisted Energy is one of a few new currencies in Destiny 2 that you’ll spend on the Prismatic Recaster, my Drifter’s new toy. You’ll need a steady supply, so this guide will teach you how to get Twisted Energy in Destiny 2. At least the name is pretty metal!
How to get Twisted Energy in Destiny 2
Twisted Energy is used to rank up the Prismatic Recaster, letting you boost factors like your Umbral Engram income (now that’s a tongue twister). The methods for how to get Twisted Energy in Destiny 2 are pretty simple, though it might take you a while to get a steady supply going.
Right now there are two main ways to get Twisted Energy in Destiny 2: Ranking up the Season Pass and completing the weekly bounties for the Prismatic Reactor. There’s a chance Bungie will add other methods as the season progresses, but for now you’re stuck with the above methods. The Season Pass will rank up slowly over time, but the weekly bounties are a crucial way of earning Twisted Energy. You’ll want to make sure you focus on completing these each and every week if you want to get Twisted Energy. There’s no way to boost your rewards from the bounties, but running three characters will allow you to collect the reward three times each week, which is pretty neat.
Now that you know how to get Twisted Energy in Destiny 2 you can begin levelling up the Prismatic Recaster. It’s important to progress through the Season of Arrivals story mode if you want to gain access to this tools’ full suite of powers, including the ability to get Altered Element (more on that by clicking here).
