Unfortunately for those hoping to add some beach-based stylings to their homes, there are only a few ways to get Summer Shell recipes in Animal Crossing: New Horizons, and all of them are luck based.
Much like the cherry blossom recipes, you can receive summer-themed DIY recipes during Isabelle’s morning announcements, from your villagers, in bottles found on the beach, and from balloons. That’s pretty much it, so the only advice we can give is to spend as much time checking the usual spots as you can for fresh recipes!
How to get Summer Shells
Getting Summer Shells, on the other hand, is much easier. All you need to do is scour the beaches of your island. Several will appear each day, easily spottable thanks to their bright blue color.
